Summer 2024 Citadel Applied Physics Experience for High School Students

Our participants
- have fun doing applied physics, no physics experience necessary!
- collaborate with our physics faculty and cadets on campus at The Citadel in Charleston, SC
- make engaging devices and learn how they work
- learn more about The Citadel cadet experience from physics majors
Cost includes all supplies, snacks, and lunch
Recent event projects include – discovering the physics of string shooters, biologically inspired light seeking robot, microphone sensor system- sound activated LEDs, DIY metal detector, and mechanical laser light show
Eligibility- High school sophomores, juniors, and seniors
