DESCRIPTION:Looking for an exciting way to learn about robotics and coding in STEM? Look no further than our Drone Program!\n12 weeks after school programs are available in Fall 2023!\nThis program combines the latest technology with hands-on learning to engage and inspire students.  In this after school program\, you will explore the basic of coding and programming. You’ll experience a challenge you can’t experience with video games: how the program interacts with the physical environment. You’ll practice and develop your real-life problem-solving skills. \nOur program is perfect for students who love to learn with their hands. In addition to learning from guest speakers on STEM careers\, you’ll brainstorm as a group to use your creativity and teamwork skills to create a plan to make drones “dance” synchronously for the final show! \nThe schedule is one 90 minutes session per week starting the week of September 18 for 12 weeks (skip the Thanksgiving week). There are two starting times and pick the one fits your family’s busy schedule.

This course offers the basics of environment design and coding. Design your own sprite and bring them to life with animation frames\, well-made coding scripts\, and creative mathematics. No need to go at it alone – you will have a live instructor to help answer questions and debug your program. \nWe recommend your student become familiar with Scratch prior to the course\, as some tasks are intermediate.
