It made me feel artistic, and it made me feel like I can do more than what I really thought I could. It makes me want to do more coding and computer science.

Our Program

Webgyrlz Code is a unique coding program designed to teach web coding to girls in elementary school to high school. We have developed a specialized curriculum that explains computer science in a fun way.

• Taught in a classroom setting
• Each class has about 10-15 girls
• Curriculum: What HTML coding is, how web browsers read code, HTML tags, CSS, Scratch programming
• Students will develop their own one page website, hand coding the entire website

 During School

Our program can be taught during school hours, one (1) hour a day for five (5) days over a school week, or one day a week, for an hour, over the course of five (5) consecutive weeks.

After School

We have worked with various district to have our program available as a club or an after school class. The program is offered after regular school hours.  We will meet according to the schedule that best fits the school and their students.

School Districts & Home School Programs

We can adapt our program to your unique needs and schedules

Webgyrlz Code is a self-contained program. We bring the laptops. No Internet service required! This allows us to conduct training classes in various locations, even if they don’t have the needed technical equipment.  We are also better able to teach in towns that are under-served or disadvantaged.  This way, No Girl is Left Behind.
