  • Virtual Coding Classes are one (1) day a week for 4 weeks.  
  • Each family will be given a login so all children in the family, who want to learn, can join in!

The Fall/Winter Coding classes are open to students in grades 6-12

Course 3

Introduction to Web Development: A live, instructor-lead class that will use HTML & CSS programming to teach students how to hand code a 1-page website in a text editor.

This 4-session class starts with teaching students basic web page programming, and each session progresses the student through to a final 1-page website built entirely of code text.

All Classes are conducted live from 4PM - 5:30PM EST / 1 PM - 2:30 PM PST

Missed Class Session

Students will have access to recorded lessons for 60 days*. They can also schedule a 15-minute live 1:1 tutoring session per missed class session. Tutoring must be completed within 7 days of the missed class session.

The classes below have been completed, but don't despair! We will be preparing for our Spring/Summer courses and ofering online recorded courses.

 

Course 1

Introduction to Mobile App Development: A live, instructor-lead class that will use "unplugged" strategies & online tools to teach students to build a basic 3-screen mobile app.

The mobile app development training will implement block coding and text coding, such as JavaScript, to teach students the basics of mobile app design and programming.

This 4-session class starts with teaching students how to plan their mobile app, and each session progresses the student through to a final mobile web app project.

All Classes are conducted live from 4PM - 5:30PM EST / 1 PM - 2:30 PM PST

This 4-session class starts with teaching students the basics of block coding , and each session progresses the student through to a final online game project.

All Classes are conducted live from 4PM - 5:30PM EST / 1 PM - 2:30 PM PST
